About

    The Washington State Healthcare Human Resource Association (WSHHRA) is a state-wide membership organization made up of human resource professionals that are working in health care institutions or organizations related to health care. We have an affiliation with the national association, the American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration (ASHHRA).

    Over the years, WSHHRA has grown to over 100 members. Membership is voluntary and a nominal dues payment is required on the anniversary of your first dues payment (rolling 12 months).

    One state conference is held in the fall each year. Our conferences strive to present a combination of diverse and relevant topics, networking opportunities, and fun and social activities. Conference attendance is approved for SPHR/PHR educational credits through the Society of Human Resource Management. Conferences are generally scheduled as 2 day events starting on Wednesday afternoon and ending at noon on Friday.

    In addition to our outstanding conferences, networking opportunities and sponsored surveys provide valuable resources to members. Contacting other members with specific questions has proven to be one of the pluses of membership and a great asset for your HR toolbox.

    Our Association's web site (www.wshhra.org) hosts archived newsletters, conference agendas and registration, legislative updates, and so much more. Since our web site’s sole purpose is to provide information that is useful to our members, we encourage your feedback and input.
