About the Award
This award honors a WSHHRA member who demonstrates professional excellence and makes a meaningful contribution to healthcare Human Resources Management, just as Kathy did. A founding member of our chapter, Kathy has served Yakima Memorial Hospital for 35 years and remains active today, agreeing to chair the South Central HR Association even after her retirement this year. Her exemplary HR leadership deserves recognition from WSHHRA.
How to Nominate
Along with the nomination form, please include a supporting document that shows evidence of the nominee's significant involvement in a leadership role at their organization or in their community, OR significant involvement in Chapter activities and/or special projects. The narrative should describe in detail the nominee's contribution, how it was identified, the process implemented, and the overall outcome of that contribution. Send nominations to Amanda Adams by August 31, 2026.
